Grape Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir
Growing Region: Nelson, New Zealand
Owner / Winemaker: Patrick Stowe

I had the pleasure to catch-up and spend some quality time with Patrick in the winery-cellar just a few weeks ago before harvest. When Patrick set up his vineyards, he literally broke ground in Nelson, pulling out an old orchard and planting a new vineyard back in 1995, which he called Rimu Grove on the peninsula above the scenic Waimea Estuary just a short distance west of Nelson. Patrick's wines are an expression of their terroir.

Grape Varietal: 100% Chardonnay
Growing Region: Yarra Valley, Australia
Chief Winemaker: Steve Webber

Steve has an incredible understanding of the key elements in winemaking. He knows intuitively what his vineyards can produce, how each different varietal will respond, and how to express the best of both in a wine which will connect on some many occasions. Chardonnay adapts better than most varietals to its surrounds. But crafting a Chardonnay of this quality is not easy, and this wine has vibrantly generous aromas and flavours.
