Yes - I am proud to say I am a Riesling Lover - as this varietals give so much refreshment and complimentary flavours to such a varied array of fresh summer cuisine. The Riesling fruit for this wine was sourced from a single vineyard, the wineries ‘Mound’ vineyard in the Waipara Valley. The vineyard was planted in 2002 on terraced gravels and along with the Valley’s long and cool growing season, provide ideal conditions for crafting quality Riesling.

Grape Varietal: 100% Sangiovese
Growing Region: McLaren Vale, South Australia
Winemaker: Bryn Richards

At the beginning of this year I had the pleasure to spend a week in South Australia visiting a number of winemakers - while basing myself at the stunningly beautiful Chapel Hill Winery-Retreat. So I got to spend some quality time with Bryn, Michael Fragos (chief winemaker) and the team. They craft wines with character which display purity in regards to varietal and vineyard site, wines which everyone can enjoy.
