Grape Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Growing Region: Wairau Valley, New Zealand
Owner / Winemaker: Jules Taylor

OTQ - 'On The Quiet' has been a project for Jules to try something a little bit different. With her understanding, Jules has been challenging and pushing techniques to stretch and grow upon conventional interpretations of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. While at the same time creating a wine which expresses the unique character of a very special vineyard. The effort and resulting wine called out for a special bottle - to do justice.

Grape Varietal: 100% Viognier
Growing Region: Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand
Owner / Winemaker: Peter Robertson

An occasion when you allow yourself to experience something highly enjoyable, especially more than normal - we call this an ‘indulgence’. Even after just enjoying the aroma you will want more - and then when tasting this most engaging of dessert wines - your taste buds will resent you forever if you never indulge again. Making any style of dessert wine is fraught with complications and even failure before the fruit is even harvested let alone reaching the winery.

Grape Varietals: 96% Tempranillo, 4% Garnacha
Growing Region: Rioja, Northern Spain
Owner / Director: Cristina Forner

It has been a few years now since I was last in the wine region of Rioja where the fruit for this Rosado / Rosé wine was sourced. The selected fruit parcels which were hand-picked separately - were grown on gentle slopes in Cenicero and in Rioja Alavesa. The hardy vines which seem to thrive in theses testing conditions are a mixture of 15-20 years of age and grown at different altitudes in mainly clay and limestone soils.
