Grape Varietals: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca
Growing Region: Douro Valley, Portugal
Chief Winemaker: Carlos Alves

Established in 1913, Barros Port is one of the most respected wineries producing and exporting quality Port wines. Like most, they have vineyards and primary processing facilities in the Douro Valley and their ageing cellars are located in Vila Nova de Gaia. A great deal of their success comes from Old Tawnies - high quality wines matured in oak cask and vats. In June 2006, the ‘Sogevinus Group’ acquired the house of Barros Almeida.

Grape Varietals: 90% Sangiovese & 10% other red varietals
Growing Region: Castellina, Chianti Classico, Italy
Owner / Chief Winemaker: Andrea Cecchi

This coming July I will again have the great pleasure to spend some quality time, working with the passionate and talented family and team at Cecchi in the heart of Tuscany. So, to prepare and refocus my taste buds, what better way to understand their unique terroir than to open a bottle of 2013 'Riserva di Famiglia' (Family Reserve) - one of Cecchi’s most terroir expressive wines, showcasing all that is special about Sangiovese and Tuscany.

Crafted from a strict selection of only the best vintages of McLaren Vale Shiraz. Named in honour of Geoff’s Grandfather, who passed away at the ripe old age of 102. The ‘best of the best’ - crafted from only 10 barrels of this vintage, set aside to become the ‘Henley’ Shiraz.

Grape Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Growing Region: Clare Valley, Australia
Owner / Winemaker: Kevin Mitchell

This Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon takes its name from a local character who was nick-named ‘Killerman’, by Kevin’s father Mort Mitchell. This self-sufficient man, lived alone in a humble tin shed in the hills behind the Kilikanoon Cellar Door. Living off fruit and vegetables and roamed the valley hunting for his meals with rabbits being his favourite. The 'Killerman's Run' range of wines are extremely approachable.
